Oh gosh writing here about Gregg is so difficult as we are still trying to process that he is gone. I met Gregg and Jenn back as a student at FMCC in the early 70's. He was a interesting, professional and gifted English teacher who inspired his students to explore and love literature. As years passed, Gregg and Jenn became such good friends with my husband Chris and I and we will always cherish our trip to Lake Placid and Woodstock, Vermont and never forget all of the wonderful dinners we have shared together. I have never known a couple that genuinely were loving soulmates. Our deepest condolences to Jenn, Chad, Carrie and Noah and his family. Love you to the moon and back Gregg.......Kathie and Chris

Gregg was a favorite cousin to me. He was just less than a year older and always kind to me as a younger cousin seeking acceptance and favor at our family reunions as a child. He shared his new race car set with me unselfishly as it was brand new on that Christmas around 1960.
The family get togethers faded as the years proceeded. Gary Pratt was the first to enter the Armed Forces and, as the rest of the cousins attended Colleges, we lost track of one another until 2018.
The cousins that could make it attended a get together in Chappaqua, New York in 2018.
The scene found us sharing stories, reminiscing, and laughing together! Veterans meet after 50 or more years of not seeing one another sometimes. They immediately blend like no time had passed. The wrinkles of age and experience were visible but comforting as we met again in 2018. We didn't age alone.
Gregg had driven his new Miata convertible back in 2018 and I complimented him on his good taste.
I could see how thrilled he was to see all of his cousins! He listened intently and added so much to the conversation.
I never had the opportunity to meet Gregg's wife, Jennifer. I ask about her and watched Gregg's expressions light up as he told me about Jennifer. He offered that, together, they fostered Greyhound dogs and assorted felines that needed help.
I read the beautifully written obituary for Gregg. He is remembered in so many ways by the way he led his LIFE.
People Die, Relationships last forever as Pat Fergerson had commented. So True. "Cousin ED" Galloway
