Chad was always there to make me smile, make me cry, make me see myself in a way that I could not see before, and irritate me! He never said no to a game of cribbage or a sharing glass of whiskey with me. And he always recommended the book that was meant for me to read.
I will forever be grateful to him and honor the memories we shared❤️

Chad was one of those people who lit a spark & created an everlasting flame! It's been years since I've seen him & I'm saddened to know I never will again. He truly was one of the good guys! My deepest sympathies goes out to all his loved ones. May he rest in peace & always be in our hearts!

To my family, the passing of our kindhearted, talented, intelligent, musical and witty Son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and nephew is so upsetting to us all. We lost a beautiful soul far to young. I'll never forget the day I went to see him when he was in permagrin. The band had taken a break and I had asked Chad if they could play brown eyed girl. Next thing I know, Chad, on his own, sat and played the drums and sang brown eyed girl. I was in awe of his voice and felt so special because my cousin did that just for me. I'll always remember that night. Thank you for all you have done for so many people throughout your life and career(s) You're missed and loved so much by each and every one of us. Keep rockin up in heaven Chad! We wish you were still here with us, as the song says "only the good die young" More truer words could not have been said. Love and miss you always chaddy

Darla and family,
What a sweet guy! He helped us out with our son Jay 2 years ago when Jay broke down. He was hospitalized for 3 months and when he returned to his home, I knew Chad was seeing him regularly. I found comfort in that. I also got to know Chad when he was with flame and I drove the bus. He was a perfect example of a positive role model for the band members and the other Lexington folks whose lives were made better because of your son. So sad for everyone for your loss. Praying for you all

Darla and family, so sorry for your loss, his life on earth was cut way to short. When I hear his name, one word comes to mind, gentleman. When I was getting my Mom out of the car, he came right over and said “let me help you with Aunt Alice” I stated it’s ok I have it and he helped my Mom into the wheelchair and wheeled her into the funeral home so she could say her Good Byes to her sister (Chad’s Grandmother). God must have needed a young angel so now he has one ,RIP Chad and to all my cousins, I’m sending love and prayers.
