Obituary of James A. Gordon

James A. Gordon, age 34, of Johnstown, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.

He was born January 24, 1988 in Gloversville, the son of Roger and Sherri (Schrum) Gordon. He was later employed at Stewart's Shops in Mayfield. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed his motorcycles and his pet guinea pig Rodney.

Jim is survived by his parents of Johnstown, Roger and Sherri Gordon; a brother, Roger Gordon III (Kim) of Johnstown and a sister, Jamie Gordon of Gloversville; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Elaine (Frasier) Schrum of Johnstown; paternal grandparents, Roger Sr. and Linda Gordon of Johnstown; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, aunts uncles and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday, May 17th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
