Obituary of Nancy L. DeTraglia

      Mrs. Nancy Louise DeTraglia, 73, of Fonda, NY, passed away on Friday March 18, 2022 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady with her loving husband and son by her side.

     Born in Gloversville, NY on October 15, 1948, the only child of Raymond and Delphine Foggia Raneri.  She graduated from Bishop Burke High School in Gloversville, NY.   She later attended Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY.   

     Nancy was employed in early childhood care for over 25 years.  She was a devoted wife and mother.

     She married Philip N. DeTraglia on March 6, 1971 at the former Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Gloversville, NY.  In addition to her husband survivors include her son Jay and daughter-in-law, Mary Scheckton DeTraglia. 

     At Nancy's request there are no calling hours or funeral services.  Private interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown, NY.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010l Please leave condolences online at  www.brbsfuneral.com
