Obituary of John K. Dargie

Mr. John K. Dargie, age 54, of Gloversville, New York, died on March 16, 2022 at Fulton Center Nursing Home in Gloversville.

He was born on July 16, 1967 in Rome, NY, the son of Douglas and Catherine (Worthington) Dargie. He graduated from Cobleskill High School, and was later employed as a retail clerk by Hess of Latham, NY. He was an active member of many volunteer fire departments throughout his life and enjoyed cooking (and eating!),  and had a deep love for all animals, but especially dogs.

John is survived by his wife: Roxanne Lynn (Austin) Dargie, his step children: Timothy Hughes, and Miranda Hughes; his grandchildren: Royal and Westlyn; and his sister: Tonya Swift.

He was predeceased by his parents: Douglas Dargie and Catherine Dargie; and his brother: Shawn Dargie .

Services will be privately held at John's family's convenience.
