Obituary of Elizabeth Vegas

Elizabeth Vegas, 53, of Church Street, Hagaman passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 6, 2022.  Born in Nyack, NY on May 29, 1968 she was the daughter of Jorge L. Vega Rodriguez and Olga Ester Antonetty Vega.

Liz worked hard her entire life, always providing for her family.  She was currently employed at Stewart’s as a clerk, and enjoyed helping people.  She also loved animals.  Liz was a humanitarian, always seeing the good and love in others.  Her spirit of giving and joy will live on in all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother and father; her only son, Kevin Vega and his wife Tatiana; her beloved grandchildren, Kevin Jr., JoJo and Malia; and many relatives and friends.

A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 6p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.  The service will be live streamed for all to attend.  Calling hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 4p.m. at the funeral home. To view the Service
