Obituary of Eugene Joseph Carter III

Eugene Joseph Carter III (Gene)passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2022 in South Pasadena, CA after a long illness in the loving arms of his partner Christian Voyageur.  Gene grew up in Amsterdam, NY.  He moved to California 25 years ago and knew that was where he was meant to be.  He Loved the beauty California had to offer. 

 

Gene is survived by his partner Christian Voyageur, his mother Dorothy Carter, siblings Charles, Robert (Theresa), Daniel (Dawn), Donna (Robert), Larry (Denise) and Holly. And many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, his Aunt Helen and Uncle Warren Buckland, Aunt Karen Golden and numerous lifelong friends.

He is pre-deceased by his father Eugene Joseph Jr and his loving grandmother Dorothy Golden and other close relatives and friends.

 

Gene lived a beautiful life to the fullest. Those who knew him loved his bright light and enjoyed his loving spirit.

His talents blessed so many people-his nieces especially loved receiving gift packages of his artistic talent in the form of artwork and jewelry. Gene knew how to make beauty with his hands. He was a gifted seamstress, chef, home decorator, gardener, painter, and jewelry maker up until the last few days of his life. He will be greatly missed by us all.
