What can I say, there are a lot of memories. My mom was the best ever. I was "her company" when the other kids were in school; some of her weird food combinations: potato salad with thousand island dressing; peaches and sour cream; her laughter when, as a kid, I tried to make her a salad with cabbage instead of lettuce; putting her fist in her mouth when she was really mad!! -

never judgmental; always cheerful; a good person; loved her mama and brought us kids to her every weekend via multiple bus rides. I loved her red hat and red boots picture; apple pie & ice cream; Blueberries!!! our annual Mother's day event, Tara, her beautiful doll; crazy cat lady too. She was spunky even until the end--threatened to 'slap me" when I tried to feed her ice cream that she didn't want.

I love you mom, forever and ever. I just wish you would have opened up more about your aches and pains to us instead of protecting us. We could have had some more years loving you.... Rest in peace...
