Obituary of Darlene M. Yeager

         Darlene M. Yeager, 72, of Galway, passed away on Saturday morning February 26,2022  at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY following a long illness. 

     She was born in Danville, PA on October 31, 1949,  a daughter of the late Henry and Gladys Gross Weaver.  She grew up in Danville, Pa and was a 1967 graduate of Danville High School. 

    Darlene dedicated most of her career to Management in Healthcare Services and retired in 2010. 

     She enjoyed cooking, caring for animals, gardening, crafts and fishing.  She raised “Bernese Mountain Dogs” and leaves behind her companion pet dog “Eli Remmington”. 

       Darlene is survived by her life partner, Evelyn “Lynn” Messenger of Galway, NY.   Her loving daughter, Michele (Ernie Scialabba) Yeager of Gloversville, NY.   Cherished grandson, Russell  C.(Christina Guarno) Dickson of Gloversville, NY.  She was predeceased by a dear son,  Charles M. Yeager in 1989 and a brother Leroy Weaver in  2014.                .
