Obituary of Kristopher Paul-Elliot Kane

Mr. Kristopher Paul-Elliot Kane, formerly of Gloversville, NY age 64, of Frankfort, NY passed away on February 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 27, 1957 in Manhattan, the son of the late, Elias and Jewel (Brown) Kane.  He graduated from Gloversville High School where he excelled on the basketball court. He attended Northwood College before entering his service in the US Army.  He was later employed at Walmart in Herkimer where he achieved several awards.

On September 17, 2015, he married the love of his life, Lacie Owens and the two spent eight years together raising their two dogs Precious and Poppy.

Kris enjoyed horse racing as well as car racing.  It was not uncommon to see him and his wife, Lacie at the Saratoga Race Track during the summer meet.  He enjoyed spending time with family and loved sports. 

Kristopher is survived by his wife Lacie (Owens) Kane; his two sons, Brandon Tharpe and Tyronne Allen; his sister, Maude Hall; and one sister in law, Catherine Brown; his daughter, Courtney Brown; five grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Jason Kane; his brothers, James Brown and Jimmy Kane; his sister, Eva Kane Thomas.

Services will be postponed to a date to be announced.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville, NY.

A graveside service will take place in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville at a time to be announced.
