Obituary of Thomas L. Bellinger

Mr. Thomas L. Bellinger, 92, of Borden Road, Fultonville, NY died suddenly on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  Born in Fultonville, NY on October 12, 1929 he was the son of the late Furman C. Bellinger and Mildred V. Winne Bellinger.  

A lifelong area resident, Tom was a graduate of Fultonville High School.  A dedicated worker, all of his life, he worked on the family farm.  He was also the proprietor of Bellinger’s Orchard.  He took great pride in his orchard, and always looked forward to seeing the familiar faces of customers each fall.   

On August 25, 1962 he was united in marriage to Betty F. Armstrong.  That union was blessed with 44 years of marriage until her passing on July 12, 2006.  He was also predeceased by his siblings Harold R. Bellinger, Beverly Olmstead, and Kenneth Bellinger.  

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Coyne and her husband Kenneth; two grandsons, Ian and Joshua; a sister-in-law, Lucy Bellinger; nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved pets Abby and Annie.  

Relatives and friends are invited to a Service of Remembrance on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2p.m. at the Glen Reformed Church, 1526 NY-161, Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Thomas J. Flander, Jr. presiding.  At Tom's request there is no calling hours. Burial will take place at a later date in Maple Avenue Cemetery.
