Obituary of Brian J Berg

Mr. Brian J. Berg, 52, of Norwich, NY, passed away on February 3, 2022 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.

He was born September 14, 1969 in Norwich, the son of the late, Charles Berg Jr. and Audre Voght.

Brian graduated from SUNY Morrisville Community College with an associate’s degree as well as the Art Institute of Pittsburg.  He enjoyed music and spent many hours playing his guitar.  He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family and enjoyed watching football.  He enjoyed cooking special meals for his family.  

Brian is survived by his mother, Audre A. Voght (George); his wife, April Berg; his daughter, Alesha Geren; his grandchildren; as well as several cousins.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Giny Berg Sr. and Elmer and Hilda Hanson.

A graveside service will be conducted in the spring at Ft. Plain Cemetery at a time to be announced.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home. 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, NY 12078.
