Obituary of Robert J. Iannotti
Mr. Robert Joseph Iannotti, 66, of Broadalbin, passed away on Thursday January 13, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, NY following a brief illness.
He was born in Amsterdam, NY on September 22, 1955 a son of the late Joseph Angelo Iannotti and Nancy Whitney (Hoffman) Bebb.
Bob was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools.
Robert was a supervisor for Breton Industries in Amsterdam for 22 years before his retirement. He also served as a Lieutenant at the Perth Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
Robert was a true believer in the phrase "live to ride" and was an avid motorcyclist. Bob also greatly enjoyed photography, golfing, and supporting the Buffalo Bills. He was known for having a heart of gold, who would give anyone the shirt off his back in their time of need. He held on dearly to family heirlooms and reminders of his loved ones.
Robert is survived by his wife Lisa Iannotti of Edinburg, Texas; his son, Anthony (Chelsea Hayes) Iannotti of Amsterdam; step-children, Michael (Kristen) Willmott of Mayflied, and Courtney (John) Mustico of Broadalbin; three brothers, David (Penny) Iannotti of Perth, Joseph Iannotti of Largo, Florida, and Christopher (Tina) Bebb of Tampa, Florida; his grandson, Dylan Iannotti; as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Aside from his parents, Joseph and Nancy, Robert is also preceded in passing by his two sisters, Mary Beth Schuman and Cynthia Hardcastle.
Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of Robert's family. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam.
