Obituary of Gary Lee Robbins

Gary Lee Robbins passed away at home on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Born on July 2, 1945 in Gloversville, he was the son of the late, Donald R. and Virginia (Bilger) Robbins

He is predeceased by his son, Christopher Michael Robbins. 

Survivors include his wife, Julia (Fosmire); his son, Nicholas Robbins; his daughter Sherry (Robbins) Hurd; nine nieces and nephews and nine grandchildren.

Gary graduated from Gloversville High School in the class of 1964.  He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1973.  He worked at the Fulton County Highway Department after his discharge until his retirement.  He was a proud member of the Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mayfield Broadalbin Cemetery on May 28, 2022.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home 51 Fremont St. Gloversville, NY 12078.
