Obituary of Lorraine Mason

Ms. Lorraine C. Mason, 95, of Gloversville, New York, died on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home in Gloversville. 

Lorraine was born April 21, 1926 in Broadalbin, New York, a daughter of Raymond and Lillian (Blanchard) Mason. She was proud to have earned her GED, as well as a certification as a Nurse's Aid from Amsterdam Memorial Hospital. She used her certification in her career as a Nurse's Aid, working for The Getman Home in Gloversville for over 15 years. 

When Lorraine wasn't at work, she had a passion for rescuing animals, especially cats. She liked to listen to country music, and played the drums. She was known to be very outgoing and loved visiting her neighbors, but most of all loved spending time with her family. 

Lorraine is survived by her sister, Letha E. Mason; her nephew, Ryan (Amanda) Mason; and her grand-nephew, Desmond Mason. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Lillian. 

Services for Lorraine will be private at the convenience of her family.
