Obituary of Samuel Henry Gianpoalo, Jr.

Samuel Henry Gianpoalo, Jr., age 63, of Gloversville, New York, died on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at his home.

Sam was born on December 6, 1958 in Derby, Connecticut, the son of Samuel and Shirley (Pucci) Gianpoalo. He graduated from Seymore High of Seymore, CT and was later employed as a stone and concrete mason by various employers, including being a self-employed independent contractor. He was an active tinkerer, and enjoyed staying busy, especially if that meant fixing things that had broken.

Samuel is survived by his sister: Susan; his children: Samuel H. Gianpoalo, III, Steven Gianpoalo, Jesse Gianpoalo, and Stacy Payne, and his past partner and friend, Loretta Gianpoalo.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Services for Sam will be private, at the convenience of his family.
