Robert G. Nichols, 62, of Mayfield, New York, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021 with his wife and daughter by his side.

Robert is predeceased by his daughter Katie Ann Nichols, father James F. Nichols, sister Kathleen M. Conti (Joseph), mother-in-law Marlene Brady, brother-in-law Kenneth C. Hand, godmother Clementine Cloke and several very special aunts and uncles.

Robert is survived by his wife Mary (Brady) Nichols, daughter Annie C. Nichols (the light of his life), mother Catherine J. Nichols, brother James J. Nichols (Susan), brother Stephen A. Robert was of the Catholic faith and proud member of the American Legion (Broadalbin post) and the Mayfield Serviceman’s Club. He enjoyed collecting old coins and historical memorabilia and had a passion for history, especially WWI and WWII. He also enjoyed maintaining the monuments of fallen veterans in nearby cemeteries. Bob had a very keen wit and an infectious sense of humor. He also enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks. More than anything, however, he loved spending time with his daughter Annie and was a very loving, devoted and proud father.
