Obituary of John Raymond

Mr. John A. Raymond, 71, of Canajoharie, died peacefully on November 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on December 12, 1949 to George and Edna Raymond, he attended and graduated local schools. He was a graduate of Cobleskill University where he received his Associate's Degree and was employed as a Quality Assurance Technician for Beech-Nut where he retired from in 2016.

On August 6, 1982 he was united in marriage to Ms. Geraldine Corso, they remained lovingly married until her passing on November 11, 2014.

John was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his friends. He enjoyed playing penny games and cherished his Wednesday trips to the casino with his friends and family. He loved watching movies and adored his dogs and grandpuppy.

He is survived by his sons Paul (Diane) Corso of Canajoharie, and Steve (Sherri) Corso of Michigan, his daughter Gerilynn Arnold of Fort Plain and his brother-in-law Thomas (Linda) Brennan of Colonie. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters; Caitlyn, Lakken, Taryn, and Stephanie, grandson Miles, step-granddaughters; Misty and Samantha and step-grandson Phillip as well as his great grandchildren; Kyla and Kennady.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
