Obituary of Donna Loux
Donna Mae Loux, 79, of Gloversville, New York, died on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Nathan Littauer Hospital after a sudden illness.
Donna was born on April 1, 1942 in Gloversville, the daughter of Edward and Charlotte (Gifford) Loux. She graduated from Gloversville High School and was later employed as a Bank Clerk by City National Bank, which later became the NBT Bank of Gloversville. She stayed with them through the change of ownership, and enjoyed a more than 40 year career.
Donna was a devout Methodist and enjoyed volunteering her time as a Sunday School teacher for the Foothills Methodist Church of Fremont Street. When Donna wasn't at work or giving of herself to others, she loved to go bowling, enjoyed taking pottery classes, and had a natural gift for making crafts.
Donna is survived by her siblings: Raymond P. (Darlene) Loux, Judith (John) Gage, and Charles (Darlene) Loux; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings: Edward Loux, Jr., Burlin Loux, Ronald (Sheila) Loux, Gerald (Evelyn) Loux, Suzanne Bush, Sandra Migliavacca, and Marilyn Javarone.
