Obituary of Christopher L. Chapman

Christopher L. Chapman, 54, of Ridge Road, Canajoharie, NY died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 15, 2021. Born in Sayre, PA he was the son of Harry Chapman and the late Beverly Mattocks Chapman.

Chris had been a member of the Liberty Family spanning nearly three decades.  He developed many friendships and loved his family dearly.  A true rocker, he enjoyed listening to music, especially AC/DC and always enjoyed rocking out.  He had a sweet tooth enjoying cookies and cakes, and never missed dessert. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his father, Harry; four brothers, Randy (Audrey) Chapman, Harry “Curt” (Elaine) Chapman, Glen (Nancy) Chapman, Daniel (Pam) Chapman; three sisters, Belinda (Bill) Cook, Beth (Rich) Gaylord, Deana (Harley) Chapman; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended Liberty family. 

A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 3p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home. A calling hour will be held prior to the service beginning at 2p.m. at the funeral home.  A Graveside Service will take place on Chris’s Birthday, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Bradford County Memorial Park in Towanda, PA. Masks are required for all services.
