Obituary of Paul Marrone
Paul Marrone, 63, a life-long resident of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital. Paul was born in Amsterdam on January 11, 1958 to the late Eugene and Anna (Tortorella) Marrone.
On February 4, 1978 he was united in marriage to Camilla Phillips, with whom he has shared the past 43 years. Paul was a devoted family man, who will be remembered as a loving husband, and a wonderful father to his three sons.
When Paul initially entered the work force, he was employed as a Machine Operator for Gem Urethane in Amsterdam. He later worked as a Lathe Operator for Anderson Instrument Company in the Town of Glen. He worked for Anderson Instrument Co. until he left the workforce, due to illness. In his free time Paul loved to tinker with cars, and was a gun enthusiast.
Paul’s loving family includes his wife, Camilla Marrone; his sons, Michael Marrone, Jason Marrone, and Henry Bogart; his grandchildren, Jacob, Julia, and Ethan Marrone; his brothers, Robert and Donald Marrone, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
