I'd like to express my condolences to Jimmy and the rest of the family. My name is Sandie, (nicknamed Roxie, as Roger would know me). I have been friends with Roger for over 10 years. I helped out when he had his open heart surgery (working overnight as an RN then going to another hospital to keep him in line was quite a feat!).
I want to express my gratitude for being so fortunate to know Roger: I would see him EVERYWHERE! He was always on the go, whether heading to a Mason's meeting, going to church or some volunteer event, or a night of Bingo! Roger never had a bad thing to say, even on his worst day. He was a joy to be around. I wish more people in this world had the selfless heart and enthusiasm as "Cowboy Roger" did. He will be missed. I apologize this is so late, I had just found out. It has been and honor and joy to know Roger, I thank him for his service to both his country and community. My condolences and prayers to the family as I know Stuart passed away earlier this year. And I never knew, but his favorite song was Dancing Queen by ABBA!
