Obituary of Kenneth F. Covey
Kenneth F. Covey, 75 of Amsterdam, NY passed away peacefully on September 28th 2021 at Ellis Hospital. He was born on May 12th 1946 and was adopted by the late Charles K and Mildred (Stevens) Covey.
Kenneth worked as a machinist for over 25 years, retiring from the Watervliet Arsenal. He greatly enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, and bowling on Monday afternoons at Imperial Lanes in Amsterdam. Kenneth was an active member of the Elks lodge for many years.
Kenneth leaves behind his loving cildren, Melissa (Jonathan) Covey-Kamm , Tamara (Rafael) Covey-Chaverri, and Paul (Erin) Covey; his grandchildren, Michael Kamm, Danielle Kamm, Zarah Chaverri, Nicholas Covey, and Nathan Covey; his sister, Brenda Covey-Birch, as well as his nephew, Joseph Birch.
Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Amsterdam Elks Lodge #101, 226 West Main Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
