Obituary of David M. Slawienski

David M. Slawienski, 77, of Amsterdam passed away September 29, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Born May 12, 1944 in Amsterdam, and is the son of the late Leo W. and Amelia (Nowak) Slawienski.

Survived by his loving wife whom he married on August 11, 1968 Victoria D. (Doring) Slawienski of Amsterdam, son Peter (Sarah) Slawienski, daughter Autumn Eve (Gregory Conti) Slawienski. Sister Sandra (Gary) Tatlock, and his beloved grandchildren Delana Tracki, Dawson Tracki, Dorian Tracki, Silas Mancuso, and Travis Slawienski. He is also survived by his beloved nieces, nephews, and pets.

Besides his parents David is predeceased by his brother Leo S. Slawienski

David was a 1962 Graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School, and worked for General Electric in Schenectady as an Electrician. David also worked for many years at Slawienski’s Catering and Party Line both here in Amsterdam. He was also the Caretaker at the Good Shepherd Cemetery in Amsterdam. David enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends.

A graveside service will take place in the family plot of the Good Shepherd Cemetery at a later date.
