Obituary of Madeline C. Dushane

Madeline C. Dushane, age 79, of Gloversville, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at home with her loved ones at her side.

She was born March 20, 1942 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice Fountain Pantalone. She was a small person with a large personality who enjoyed life to the fullest and danced at every opportunity. She cherished her family and friends, each one holding a special place in her heart. She will be remembered for her warm smile and an “I love you” at the end of every conversation.

Madeline is survived by her husband, Thomas Dushane; three children, Deborah Handy (Aaron), Tara Roberts (Mark) and Thomas Dushane Jr. (Alicia); 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Miller; a brother, Joseph Pantalone Jr. (Mary); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private graveside prayer service will be held at the convenience of the family at Mayfield Cemetery with the Rev. Matthew Wetsel officiating. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main St; Gloversville, NY 12078.
