Obituary of Randy W. Cranker

Mr. Randy W. Cranker, 57, of Helwig Street, Gloversville, NY died suddenly on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Nathan Littauer Hospital.  Born on August 16, 1964 he was the son of Terry and Catherine Hine Cranker.

A lifelong area resident, Randy was a graduate of Gloversville High School.  He was formerly employed by Lee Dye.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved his family dearly, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Catherine Cranker; his children, Gregory Cranker, Jessica Cranker and Crystal Cranker; four granddaughters, McKenna, Sierra, Chelsey and Kennady; three grandsons, Jaidyn, Carter and Colton; his brother, Robert Cranker; his companion, Michelle and her children, Rebecca Valachovic, Emily Valachovic and her fiancé Kevin Carelli, and Jeffery Valachovic; and many friends.

He was predeceased by his sister Shelly Beringer.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, 12078.  All are invited to attend and masks are required.
