Obituary of Mark A. Marrone

Mr. Mark A. Marrone, 66, of Stuart, Florida died peacefully on September 14, 2021 following a long illness.  Born on May 8, 1955 in Schenectady, NY he was the son of the late Valentino “Tino” Marrone and Frances Wilsey Marrone.

Mark grew up in Amsterdam and was a 1973 graduate of Amsterdam High School.  He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served proudly until 1979 when he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. Mark lived in Alaska for a few years, before moving back to Amsterdam where he was employed by various local companies.  In 2005 he relocated to Florida.

His greatest joy was living life his way, and on his motorcycle.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his brother, Michael F. Marrone and his sister, Sandra A. Marsh.

Survivors include his two sons, Jared Marrone (Sam Thayer) and Michael Marrone; two daughters, Elizabeth Marrone and Dawn Marrone; three grandchildren, Antonio, Kelson and Isabella; his three sisters, Tina M. Marrone (Richard), Lori J. Hartig (Jeff) and Pamela J. Marrone- Coons (Lawrence); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Truax Road, Amsterdam with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
