Obituary of Hector Reyes

Mr. Hector A. Reyes, 61, of Gloversville, New York, died September 6, 2021 at his home.

Hector was born on July 7, 1960 in Puerto Rico to Carmen Morales. After high school, he was employed by St. Regis Sportswear, where he worked as a knitter, and most recently he worked as a cleaner with Best Temp, helping to beautify his community.

When Hector wasn't at work he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going shopping, and being with family and friends. He was known to be the life of the party.

Hector is survived by his partner, Teresa A. Allen, his children, Hector (Tara) Reyes, and Desiree M. Reyes; his grandchildren, Brianna Reyes and Jayden Reyes; two great-grandchildren; and siblings Jerry Lopez, Richard (Elaina) Lopez, Raymond Santana, Betsy (Robert) Santana, Evelyn (Angel) Negron, and Sylvia (Robert) Mauleon.

He was predeceased by his mother, Carmen M. Morales.

Services for Hector will be private, at the convenience of his family.
