Vincent’s greatest accomplishment in life was his family. His love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was seen in everything he did. He encouraged and celebrated all our accomplishments, never missing sporting events, school activities, graduations, birthdays, and life events. He instilled in all of us the value of working hard, never giving up, showing up when it mattered, and surrounding yourself with the people you love. He loved going for rides, Sunday dinners, eating at various restaurants, concerts in the park, and holiday celebrations. Susan, Gina, Paul, and Jim made it possible for “one more road trip” to Gina and Jim’s home in Wells to see a recent home project and spend time with his favorite furry companion, Rocky.
In keeping with Vincent’s wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service. The family would appreciate any memorial contributions be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 108 Steele Ave. Gloversville NY 12078. We will be forever grateful for the love and support of family, friends, the Mountain Valley Hospice team, Katie from CHC, Lincare, and Ashley Duross and her team at St. Mary’s Rao Pavillion Cancer Center.
The staff of Walrath and Stewart Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Danise family as they navigate this difficult time.
