Obituary of Luis Soto

     Luis Soto, 65, of Fultonville, NY,  passed away at his home on August 8, 2021. 

     He was born on May 7^th, 1956 the son of Octavio and Carmen Maria Soto.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Long Island and from there moved to Montgomery County until his passing. 

     Luis jog in life was music, family gatherings and community outings. Luis is survived by a younger brother, Richard Soto and older Sister, Carmen Lourdes Soto.  He has Four Nieces and 1 nephew in Florida.  Other nieces and nephews are as follows, Elizabeth Soto, Julia Caro, Maria Sanchez, Jessica Ayala, Ernesto Morales, Alexander Iglesia,  Matthew Soto and Joshua Iglesia.   Housemates and his extended Liberty Family also survive. 

     He was a happy, friendly soul who loved a variety of music and enjoyed outings.  I would like to thank all the staff of Liberty at his home for the excellent care given to Luis. 

      Funeral Services and calling hours are private and will be held at the convenience of his family.   Interment will be with his family in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz,Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
