Obituary of Elizabeth Kadle

Mrs. Elizabeth I. Kadle, age 78, of Gloversville, died July 29, 2021 after a long illness.

Elizabeth was born May 6, 1943 in Gloversville, the daughter of Paul and Doris (Shutters) Lince. She attended the Gloversville High School, and after school studied cosmetology. rather than work in that field, however, she found a home working in medical admissions for Nathan Littauer Hospital. On May 26, 1971, Elizabeth married George Kadle, and together they built a home and a family.

When Elizabeth wasn't helping people at the hospital, she spent her free time enjoying visits to casinos, participating in a local bowling league, spending time with her friends and family, and she especially loved her dogs.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, George W. Kadle; her two daughters, Bonnie L. Atty, and Robin (Edward Wooster) L. Kinard; her siblings, Carolyn (Joseph) Kadle, Paul (late Katherine) Lince, and Richard (Cindy) Lince; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Charlene Lince, David Lince, and Walter Lince.

Elizabeth's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00PM to 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A funeral service will follow at 4:00PM with the opportunity for loved ones to share a brief memory of Elizabeth.

Interment will take place privately, at the family's convenience, following cremation.
