Obituary of Everett J. Paul

Everett J. Paul, 71, of Washington Street, Gloversville, NY died peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Ellis Hospital.  Born on August 31, 1949 he was the son of the late Everett and Doris Lynch Paul.

A lifelong area resident, Everett attended local schools and was a graduate of Gloversville High School Class of 1968.  He served proudly with the United States Navy for four years.  When he returned home he worked for various leather companies including Pearl Leather until his retirement.

Everett enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his cats.

He was predeceased by his nephew, Lonnie M. Duesler.

Survivors include his sister, Susan Duesler (Ivan); three nieces, Amber Smith, Sheree Duesler (Scott) and Trisha Horan (Kirk); one nephew, James E. Smith (Courtney); one great niece and three great nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11a.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery with military honors.
