Obituary of Timothy Skotarczak

Timothy Skotarczak , 66, of Amsterdam passed away suddenly at home on July 12, 2021. Born on December 29th 1954 he was the son of the late William Skotarczak and Alice (Groves) Youngman.

Survived by his former wife Wendy Skotarczak and their children and grandchildren. Son William H. Skotarczak, grandchildren Natalie, Jordan, Mayson and Eyan. Daughter Kristy A. Skotarczak, grandchildren Jaydyn and Alexander all of Amsterdam. Also survived by his loving fur babies Zoey and Browncow. Siblings Michael Skotarczak, David Skotarczak (Melissa), Patricia Kot and Debbie LaBate.

Tim was born and raised in Amsterdam, and was a 1973 graduate of Amsterdam High School. He worked for General Electric, Industrial Knitting, Adirondack Knitting, Coleco, Holiday Inn and St. Mary's Hospital. He was a plumber by trade working in and around Amsterdam. He was a communicant and member of the Holy Names Society at St. Mary's Church.

All are welcome to attend graveside services on Monday July 19, 2021 at 12:30pm at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. A celebration of Tim's life will take place immediately following at 235 Brookside Avenue, Amsterdam, all are welcome.
