Obituary of Beverly D. Biltucci

Mrs. Beverly D. Biltucci, 89, formerly of Montgomery Street, Canajoharie, NY died peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Palatine Nursing Home.  Born in the Town of Canajoharie on May 5, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Marion Richardson Diefendorf.

A lifelong area resident, Bev was a graduate of Canajoharie High School. She began her working career at A.B. Huested Drug Store.  She then went to work for Central National Bank for 35 years until her retirement in 1991.

On October 14, 1950 she was united in marriage to Albert J. “Abe” Biltucci.  That union was blessed with 65 years until his passing on September 15, 2015.  She was also predeceased by her siblings, Audrey Haig, Margaret Coffin, and Robert Diefendorf.

Bev was a former member of the Canajoharie Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Canajoharie Senior Citizens.  She enjoyed decorative painting, oil painting, and was an avid golfer.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, David Biltucci; her granddaughter, Vanessa (Lou) DiLorenzo; her brother, Donald “Skip” Diefendorf and his wife Helen; her great grandchildren, Louis, Bretton and Bowie; three step great grandchildren, Allyssa, Alex and Aiden; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 115 Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY.  Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the Mass beginning at 10a.m. at the church.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Fort Plain Cemetery.
