Obituary of Roberta Sue Morreale

Roberta “Bobbi” Sue Morreale, 69, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. She was born on May 30, 1952 to the late Theodore Jr. and Barbara (Hoccheim) Romig in Binghamton, New York, and was raised in Amsterdam area.

Bobbi was a devoted Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 years, working at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam. She loved being a nurse, and helping people. She also loved her children and grandchildren to a fault, and most of all, she loved God.

Her loving family includes her children, Christopher (Kyrie) Morreale, Heather (Louie) Morreale, Brandy Morreale, and Ashley (Chris) Morreale; grandchildren, Lexy, Christian, JJ, Loucito, Julliana, Alynna, Gio, Natalia, Landon, Leah, Leila, Josh, Logan, Jionni, Savy, Luca, and Camron; her long-time best friend, Linda Bennett; as well as by two nieces, Alicia and Jill.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 5 o’clock in the evening until 7 o’clock in the evening at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010, with a funeral service to follow at 7 o'clock in the evening with Reverend Ryan Bradley presiding. Memorial contributions may be made in Bobbi's memory to the Organization for Autism Research, 2111 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 401, Arlington, VA 22201, or at https://researchautism.org/get-involved/donate/
