Obituary of Robert N. Reakes

Robert N. Reakes, 89, of Hagaman passed away May 29, 2021. He was born in Hunlock Creek, PA, the son of the late Amos L. Reakes and Anna (Pavlick) Reakes Kruger.

Survived by his son Robert D. (Lucinda) Reakes of Fort Johnson, and daughter Dawn (Lee) Kosiba of Broadalbin.  Also survived by grandchildren RJ Reakes, Austin Reakes, Bryan Kosiba, great -granddaughter Regina Reakes, loving friend Helen Anderson and many cousins.

Besides his parents Robert was predeceased by his loving wife Paula (Sweers) Reakes as well as his two brothers Amos and George Reakes.

He was employed as a Machinist for General Electric in Schenectady for 30 years. Robert was a member of the Century Club, and was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the family plot of the Hagaman Mills Cemetery next to his late wife Paula.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Robert can be made to the Hagaman Mills Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
