I know this is late, but I just wanted to give my condolences to the family and say that J'Amy was the best tutor that I could ever ask for. She helped me to get my GED so that I could go to college. I LOVE AND MISS YOU J'AMY! THANKS FOR EVRYTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME! LOVE ALWAYS JOANN ❤️❤️

J'amy was not one of my school teachers, however I have learned so much from her over the years. Her lessons on life will be remembered. Her smile could brighten a room. God's peace, my friend.

J'Amy And I met in 1965 and remained lifelong friends. My deepest condolences to both you and Liz, Bob. J 'Amy was a force of nature who will be missed every single day. Truly the most loyal friend and ...to a Life well lived. We were so enriched in knowing her. Our entire gang formed lasting friendships around the Waterstreet dining table and in the funeral parlour after rehearsals with Bert DeRose. Goodbye Teach.

Amy was my old GED teacher from BOCES and she helped me alot and taught me alot. She was a strict teacher but caring also. Without her teaching I would of never went into college to become a mortician. Unfortunately my health is what stopped me from finishing but she would been proud of me. I will miss what she has done for me was giving me money when i came to the comfort zone for diapers for.my daughter Cassidy, she gave me $20 and I payed her back within a week later on. She was the nicest lady I ever known. She always treated her students like family and I'm sorry for the family loss to a very special person anyone could ever know. I'm very sorry for the loss.
I will always miss you from the bottom of my heart.

There are few times in life that one must say: "There are no words." This is one of those. I met J'Amy approximately 70 years ago, when my family moved near her father's Funeral Parlor on Division Street. To say she became an instantaneous member of our family would be an understatement. We grew up together, sharing many days of games with neighborhood kids and happily remained closely bonded throughout life. Mine was just one of countless lives blessed by the presence of this "angel on earth" who spent her life dedicated to helping others and "being there" for her friends whenever they needed support. Heartfelt condolences to Bob (also a long-time 'member of our family'), Liz and Dana and the entire family. While J'Amy will be missed each day, there is comfort knowing that she will now be looking down on those she loved and continuing to provide the support we have learned to rely upon. As you fly with the angels, dear 'sister,' know how deeply you were loved and how greatly you are missed.
