To the Buchner Family:
On behalf of the family of Bill and Edie Carpenter, we want to express our condolences on the death of your mom. We have such great memories of the Buckner kids: Gail, Lee, Becky and Rocky having fun out on Sand Island when our parents all had boats. I (Carol) was fortunate enough to re-connect with Lee while I was a Guidance Counselor at Schalmont Middle School.
Your family was so much fun and them memories will last forever. I was happy to see your mom a number of years ago before your dad died and we had a nice conversation.
I found this picture of your mom and our mom when they were cheerleaders at BHS. This picture was taken for the 1939 Yearbook when Edie was a Senior and your mom was a sophomore. They are standing right next to each other! She always looked just like this picture.
