Obituary of Antoinette R Corvene

Ms. Antoinette Rachel Corvene, 83, formerly of Amsterdam, died April 15, 2021 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 20, 1938 the daughter of Mr. Lewis Corvene and Mrs. Carmela Emanuele Corvene. She is survived by her children Joseph (Carol) Tortorella of Venice FL, Kathryn Tortorella of Webster NY, Michael Tortorella of Newnan GA, and her brother Lewis Corvene of Hudson FL. 

She attended and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1955 and attended business school in Schenectady.  She was employed as a Secretary at Citibank in Rochester, after raising her family. 

 She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. She was an accomplished pianist, cook, and reader of books. 

A private interment will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on April 29, 2021 at 2:00PM. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church has been a pillar to the Corvene and Emanuele family for generations. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, which was her most passionate charitable organization.
