Obituary of Mary E. Snyder
Mary E. Snyder, age 50, of Greenfield Center, passed away on Friday April 2, 2021 due to complications of Covid-19.
She was born on April 9, 1970 in Amsterdam, NY. She worked since 1999 as a stock clerk and more recently as an electrical test technician at Espey Manufacturing and Electronics of Saratoga Springs.
Mary had recently developed a love of travel. This led to short trips to Boston, New York City and Las Vegas as well as a cruise to San Juan, St. Kitts, St. John and St. Thomas before the start of the pandemic.
Mary loved the simple things in life and cherished the time that she spent with her sisters. She loved hanging out with her family watching reruns of “Law & Order”, “Charmed”, “Monk” and “House”, also she loved having “Girl’s Night Out” with her friends Mary, Amy and Stephanie.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Snyder, whom she married on September 2, 1989. She is also survived by her beloved children, Daniel R. Snyder (Christine) of Albany, Ariel M. Snyder and Maranda M. Snyder both of Greenfield Center; her precious grandson Levi Snyder also of Greenfield Center; her father, Sherman W. Case of Broadalbin; her mother and step-father, Shirley Johnson (Roger Jr.) also of Broadalbin; her siblings, Sherman W. Case Jr. of Broadalbin, E.J. McCracken of Johnstown and Kelly Leonard (Shawn) of Johnstown; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, a private visitation will take place at the convenience of the Snyder family with cremation to follow.
Since she enjoyed the simple things in life, those wishing to send flowers are encouraged to send Carnations, which were Mary’s favorite.
