Obituary of Shirley Diane Delude

Mrs. Shirley Diane Delude, age 67, of Gloversville, passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

She was born August 9, 1953 in Hope, the daughter of the late Herbert and Mable White. Shirley worked as a Nurse’s Aide for several years before sustaining back injuries in an automobile accident, taking her away from the job she loved. She was an avid fan of cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church and watching CSI: Miami.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Kristie Lee; her son Nick Hamel Sr. (Ashley); nine grandchildren, Alona, Najee, Shillae, Sophia, Cassius, Nick Jr., Aja, Briella and Charlie; along with several extended family members.

In addition to both of her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Darlene Snyder.

As per Shirley’s wishes, a private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family.

Cremation took place at Park View Cemetery, Schenecatady.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the family or a charity of your choice in her name.
