Obituary of Carolyn J. Dunn

Carolyn J. Dunn, age 94, of Gloversville, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Albany Medical Center, Albany.

She was born August 22, 1926 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Everett and Carrie Mischler Grey. She was employed as a glove maker by Alexette, Bachmo-Postman and the Grandoe Corp. Carolyn and Roger spent winters in Lake Suzy, Florida enjoying golfing at the Kingsway Club. Carolyn will truly be missed by all for her creative talents in sewing, knitting and crocheting, as well as her delicious baking creations. She was also a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Robert J. Dunn (Joan) of Gloversville; a grandson, Matthew R. Dunn, Esq. (Tanya) of Adams, NY; and great-grandchildren Connor and Miles.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Roger M. Dunn, as well as her brother, Edward Grey.

For the safety of family and friends, a private service will take place at the convenience of the family, under the direction of Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.

Interment will take place in the spring at Algonquin Cemetery, Wells.
