Obituary of Edward Leroy Bleyl

Mr. Edward Leroy Bleyl, age 66, of Bleecker, passed away from a brief illness on Saturday February 20, 2021 at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Gloversville.

 

He was born October 9, 1954 in Gloversville, the son of Ruth Pollock Bleyl and the late Stephen E Bleyl. He worked at the family Saw Mill, Bleyl and Sons for many years. He was a member of the Bleecker Community Church and a long time member of the Bleecker Fish & Game Club and  enjoyed fishing and camping and tinkering with small engines and old equipment to bring them back to working condition.

 

Edward is survived by his mother, Ruth Bleyl; his sister, Susan (James) Langlois; a brother, John (Kathy) Bleyl; a sister in-law, SunAe Bleyl along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

 

In addition to his father Stephen, Edward was predeceased by his son Peter Bleyl,  sister and brother-in-law  Shirley (Alfred) Alfini and a brother Thomas Bleyl.

 

Keeping with Edward’s wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services at this time.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Bleecker Community Church or a charity of your choice in Edward’s name.
