Obituary of Joseph Matthew Curran

Joseph Matthew Curran, 61, passed away on Saturday February 13, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on December 14, 1959 in Schenectady, NY he was the son of Walter and Dolores Curran.

He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1977. He then served four years in the Air Force as a SRA E4 Airlift / Bombardment Aircraft Maintenance Specialist with outstanding unit and service awards. Joseph became a carpenter by trade, enjoyed the outdoors and writing poetry.

Survivors include his mother Dolores H Curran; brother Michael J. Curran and niece Chelsea Curran; sister Karen Arsenaut & husband Paul, niece Julie Feeney & husband Patrick with great nephews Owen & Leo, and niece Michelle Kahn & wife Mallory; sister Christine H. Curran & husband Jordan A. Murphy; sister Paula E. Mattson and nephew Joseph Mattson; sister Patricia A. Curran & husband Paul Lounsbrough, niece Kristy, nephew Cory & great niece Casey Grace. Joseph also had an extended family Brenda Cacciari, Katie, Guido and Jamie.
