Obituary of Sherrie E. LaMont

Mrs. Sherrie E. LaMont, 69, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 following a brief illness.  Born in Niskayuna, NY she was the daughter of the late Steve and Gladys McNulty Vass.

A lifelong area resident, Sherrie attended local schools.  She was employed as a buyer for Price Choppers Super Markets for many years, and lastly at Lancaster Development in Cobleskill.

Sherrie will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Gene Vass and Jeanette Bracchi.

Her loving family includes her husband of 50 years, Richard LaMont; three children, Renee Pajak and her husband Tom, Richard LaMont and his wife Kim and Stevee Groff and her husband Zach; five grandchildren, Megan, Shelby, Kaili, Zach and Sophia.
