Obituary of Leo Bouck Jr.

Mr. Leo M. Bouck, Jr. 83, of Gloversville, NY died peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Capstone Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

Leo was born on December 14, 1937 to the late Leo and Audrey (Killmeyer) Bouck of Middleburg, NY. He was raised in Middleburg and was a graduate of Middleburg High School, the class of 1955. In 1956 Leo enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed in Japan for the Security Agency of the US Army, until he was honorably discharged in 1959.

Leo farmed in Sharon Springs for a number of years until 1976 when he moved to Perth and later Gloversville. He was Manager of the Agway Farm Store in Amsterdam for 12 years until retiring in 1998. Over the years Leo enjoyed spending time outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees Baseball team.

His loving family includes three sons, Thomas (Tammy) Bouck of Mayfield, Allen (Jenny) Bouck of Perth, and Christopher (Lisa) Bouck of Amsterdam and daughter Catherine Dingman of Johnstown; two sisters, Jean Collins and Patricia Brown, both of Cobleskill; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Audrey Karl of Amsterdam.
