Obituary of Michael Francis Fabian

Mr. Michael Francis Fabian, age 77, formerly of Gloversville then Saratoga, passed away on February 3, 2021 at River Ridge Living Center, LLC in Amsterdam.

 

He was born July 26, 1943 in Gloversville, the son of the late Emmeran and Elizabeth Fabian. He served in the US Air Force and was later employed as a Loan Officer by Gloversville Savings and Loan. After leaving GFS, Michael retired from banking due to health reasons he found other avenues of employment. He was a fan of Sports in general also enjoyed horse racing and was an avid reader of books.

 

Michael is survived by his brother Gregory Fabian along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members

 

In addition to both his parents, Michael was predeceased by his brother Stan Fabian and a stepmother Marion Fabian.

 

Keeping with Michael's wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services at this time.

Cremation took place at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.

 

Interment will take place in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice.
