Obituary of Joan Emillie Wright
Joan Emillie Wright of Gloversville passed away peacefully February 8, 2021 at Nathan Littauer Hospital. She was adored by many, will be greatly missed, and loved forever. Joan was born in Winooski, Vermont on December 18, 1939 to the late Marcus W. Duff and Christine Simek Duff. She instinctively knew how to make you feel like a friend and part of the family. She was an avid family historian and meticulously traced her family genealogy for many generations. Her other interests included sewing, knitting and building miniature dollhouses. Above all, her greatest joy was her family.
Joan was predeceased not only by her parents but also by her first husband, James F. Glover, and her second husband, Frank Wright. She is survived by her four children – James R. Glover (Tammy Dwyer), Terri G. Easterly (William B. Easterly), Christopher M. Glover (Andrea Chittenden), and Scott M. Glover (Shawnee-Lynn Glover).
