Obituary of William Huptick

William Huptick, 77, son of Willam and Anna (Antalek) Huptick, passed away on Saturday January 23, 2021 from unexpected health complication at Albany Medical Center.

He was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to Gloversville as an infant. He graduated from Gloversville High School as a star athlete in 1961. He later graduated from Fulton-Montgomery Community College as a part of FMCC’s first graduating class in 1966 and then completed his studies at the University of Albany. He worked at Sun Oil Company and retired as a district manager at Stewart’s Shops. William enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Palmateer, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by both of his parents and a sister, Susan Towne.

By William’s wishes there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services.
