To Karen's family, I knew Karen from Kings Boro School as my daughter Sara and Karen's son Scott went in the same class. I believe it might have been the last time I seen Karen, but she left a lasting memory for me, as .she was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met. She was always joking with Sara and my daughter still remembers her jokes. May she Rest In Peace and my family and I are sending prayers to all of you.

She was an amazing woman. I worked at DCS with her and will always remember how she gave every child in my Kindergarten class a baby spider plant for a Mother’s Day present. Both my children adored her. What a role model. Sending my sympathies to all.

Dear Ron, Shannon, Michelle and Dot and all the Hollys and Luey children,
Your Karen was a woman ahead of her time, so beautifully described in her obituary. She squeezed every ounce out of every moment of her life, spreading her loving care and creativity everywhere life took her. It was a joy for me to see her whenever I visited family in Gloversville and to be there at the time of her wedding to Ron. Ron, you have been a magnificent caregiver, demonstrating your love for her through the way you lived your marriage vows. Taken too soon, she deserved much more from life and had much more to share.

So many great memories and life experiences with this special lady. This picture was taken at The Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Mt. Karen loved costumes. Pretty sure we weren't supposed to be touching anything. Karen couldn't resist trying these on. We nearly got caught by the attendant. My brother Ron and Karen fled as I was left trying to untie the knot in my bonnet. It made for a lot of laughs over the years. I will miss you so much Momma Karen, RIP.
